Why Facebook Connections Expire

Your Facebook connection can break for several common reasons:

  • Password changes — Someone changed their Facebook password
  • Natural expiration — Facebook tokens automatically expire after a period of time
  • Permission changes — Someone removed app authorization or changed page permissions
  • Session changes — Someone logged out of Facebook or a team member logged in from a different location
Pro Tip: If you have team members or virtual assistants managing your Facebook page, make sure they use consistent login methods to avoid disconnecting integrations.
